We are pleased to invite you to a unique, first ever, opportunity to experience a South African wine master and winery owner introducing his family’s own premium wine offerings from the Stellenbosch wine region. And this will be hosted in the award-winning Bord Eau Restaurant in the Shangri-La Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Cape Wine Master De Bruyn Steenkamp, lawyer and owner of Friesland wines, will be introducing you to five family crafted red and white wines, a rosé from the Tulbagh wine region as well as a very special South African port, to showcase the pride of South African white and red cultivars. The wines presented will be from Friesland and Groenland, a winery 26 km from Stellenbosch overlooking Table Bay, and owned by De Bruyn’s brother, Piet.

These wines will be complemented by six courses of superb bespoke French cuisine, crafted by Chef Slim Ben Chahla of Bord Eau to create an unforgettable evening and exposure to wines not yet available in the UAE.

We have also negotiated an overnight package with the Shangri-La – details below*.
